How it all began
I began my journey over 13 years ago, when I studied for my NVQ Level 2 and 3 beauty therapy and level 3 anatomy and physiology. After the successful completion of my education, I embarked on my career path on board several cruise ships, where I specialised in body treatments: massage, facials and, most importantly, working in fat and inch loss treatments.
Whilst on board the cruise ship, I worked closely with the fitness and medispa team (specialising in cosmetic treatments i.e. Botox) and learnt a lot from my colleagues.
Following this experience, I discovered a passion for the body and how it worked and began to self-study and learn more about this topic. I then certified as a personal trainer for levels 2 and 3, and also obtained my level 3 in anatomy and physiology for sport.
I gained further experience while working with clients through my own beauty therapy business part-time, and worked as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer.
I continued with this as I worked in management lead roles to gain the experience required to manage and run my own successful business and learn more about the needs and wants of clients.
Training and qualifications
Ever since the beginning, I have undertaken several extensive aesthetics training sessions, along with first aid and other CDPD courses, such as those relating to infection.
My aesthetic training with The Beauty Nurse Academy was an in-depth course where I have developed the skills and knowledge to safely administer the aesthetic treatments I offer. I have been trained to safely deal with any side effects which could occur as a result of any procedures.
It is important to me that my clients understand the aesthetic treatments they are considering, so they are able to make an informed choice and one that is right for them, without feeling rushed into a decision.
What I offer
I am always on-hand to offer any advice and will always provide a consultation prior to the administration of any treatment, as well as post-procedure services should clients want this. I am fully insured with Insync Insurance Solutions LTD.
I am friendly and welcoming, always striving to ensure that clients feel comfortable and at ease. I will thoroughly go through the treatment plan for each individual client and will tailor this for their needs and to achieve their desired look.
My intention is to ensure my clients are happy with their results, in order to feel confident in themselves.
